The United States has recently updated how parcels from the UK are handled. The old low-value allowance has been removed, which means all commercial parcels now require duty and full customs processing on arrival.
To keep things straightforward for you, all US orders from Unicorn Browbands are sent through Royal Mail’s Postal Delivery Duties Paid (PDDP) service. This means the import duty and Royal Mail’s clearance fee are paid in advance, and the amount you see at checkout already includes these costs.
• Your parcel should arrive without any extra fees being requested at delivery.
• The customs label shows the PDDP mark which confirms duty has been prepaid.
