I’m always being asked what colour *bling browbands go with which colour horse and as blue browbands are so popular right now let’s take an in depth look at our best blue browbands.
If you are the proud owner/rider of a grey or black horse, congratulations, they can get away with and look amazing in any colour browband. I would always though put darker edging to differentiate where the browband ends and the horses head begins on a grey or a dark horse with a big wide blaze and the opposite follows for having light coloured edging crystals on a dark head, but the colours are up to you. I do love to see blue on a grey horse though!
On other colour horses you can always find a shade of blue to go well with your mount, for instance I love teal or turquoise shades on a nice chestnut and a deep navy edged with a clear or other light shade on a dark bay can look extremely smart.
Palomino horses look stunning in the brighter blue colours, the same with buckskins and duns.
As with anything, rules are there to be broken and at the end of the day your personal preference rules! I’m sure that we have a beautiful blue browband that your horse will look stunning in.

The United States has recently updated how parcels from the UK are handled. The old low-value allowance has been removed, which means all commercial parcels now require duty and full customs processing on arrival.
To keep things straightforward for you, all US orders from Unicorn Browbands are sent through Royal Mail’s Postal Delivery Duties Paid (PDDP) service. This means the import duty and Royal Mail’s clearance fee are paid in advance, and the amount you see at checkout already includes these costs.
• Your parcel should arrive without any extra fees being requested at delivery.
• The customs label shows the PDDP mark which confirms duty has been prepaid.

These rules came into effect in 2025 and apply to all UK businesses sending goods to the USA, regardless of parcel value. We use PDDP so that everything is handled ahead of time and your order can travel smoothly through customs.
